Welcome to the EPIC on-line training modules. Within these training modules, you will learn that the EPIC approach consists of ten interrelated components, each with specific practices and a visual model. The use of the components guides the early intervention provider during the home visit to coach the caregiver to embed learning throughout everyday routines and activities by answering five questions. The visual model is a tangible description of the 5Q process the caregivers use when interacting with their children. The online training materials have been developed to identify the unique features of EPIC and to illustrate the practices in action using video of interdisciplinary early intervention providers working with children of varying disabilities and their families during home visits.
