Kelly Windsor has participated in several federally funded grants, serving as the project coordinator for two randomized controlled trials examining the effects of parent and therapist implemented naturalistic language intervention (Enhanced Milieu Teaching) on the communication of young children with intellectual disabilities.  She later served as a communication coach for parents and service providers on the KidTalk TACTICS Project, a model demonstration project which incorporated both Family Guided Routines Based Intervention and Enhanced Milieu Teaching with the goal of promoting continuity of communication intervention for young children across each of their daily environments. Kelly has extensive experience in conducting and interpreting assessments, implementing interventions directly with children, collaborating with parents, and in coordinating project activities.  Kelly’s research interests include early communication interventions, early communication development in Down syndrome, and caregiver-implemented interventions.
